Covid 19 effects In Moi University &Kesses Centre

 Since it's Outbreak early this year in March and some students being forced to go back home, Covid 19 led to several students be unable to pay for the Monthly house rents which accumulated all along since there was no Notice that Corona will take a given short period of time hence nobody knew it shall take a long period of time. To Those who depend on students to earn a daily living, Covid 19 brought them a very big impact since they had nobody to sell to hence losing their daily income, this has led to some being told to Vacate from their places of residence  The bigger problem brought about by this Covid 19 pandemic, has been many young people who mainly depended on offering transport services around the University hence earning something small, turned themselves into Thieves breaking into homesteads and even making away with some property which belonged to students who were away back in their homes In conclusion, students and the Villagers around the University should just...

Hardwork pays, you reap what you sow.  Some of the quotes that have fully enabled the moi university main campus rugby 'The Arsonists' team reach where it is at the moment. This is after a series the recent perfomance in there previous games until now they are in the national playoffs after teaching the Eldoret RFc on how to play rugby with a huge win of 27-8. The game which started on a light note where the Arsonists showed alot of composure and the players were much confident and within the first 5mins of the game they had the control of the game. This led to them smashing the Eldoret RFc conceeding an early defeat of 15-0 within the first half of the match. Coming in the second half, the Arsonists continued to overpower the Eldoret Rfc who managed to get eight points but the Arsonists had already carried the day with an extra of 12 points. Reclaiming the lost Glory

The long awaited day is finally here with us. Its been termed as the 'Bulls fight final edittion'. The moi university man campus rugby team alias 'The arsonists' will be hosting the Eldoret Rfc team at Fr kizito grounds. The match is scheduled to commence at 3pm on 6th April.  Having participated in the north rift tournament late last year where the 'Arsonists' were eliminated from the competition by the same Eldoret Rfc, they are determined to revenge by winning this match. The team has seen a good perfomance since it has well played the previous matches and won all of them hence a winning spell has to continue. This friendly match will witness officialls from the Kenya rugby union who are to oversee the match and motivate the players and even try to identify key players so that they can be promoted to the different national rugby clubs. Strong and Determined

The Moi university main campus rugby team 'The Arsonists' are in to show what it takes for every sportsman. This has been seen through the way they've handled there friendly matches this year through showing tireless efforts by winning the matches consecutively. The team managed to beat the west campus team, which is a satelite campus of Moi university by 22-15 the match which was played in the main campus at Fr. Kizito grounds in the main campus. This gave the team more efforts since they have had to train much more and the last weekend, the team met the Kenya prisons team where they again overwhelmed the spectators and those who love the game by hammering them 17-12. This was after a tight draw of 9-9 in the first half but due to determination and match composure the 'Arsonists' managed to carry the day's victory through the second half-time. The moi university rugby team alias the 'arsonists' again is set this weekend to prove that they are the current champions of the last KUSA tournent. This is through a tough game which has been described as the 'approbation' since it will enable continue roar as they continue to prepare in the oncoming KUSA tournement which will be held later this year. The team which has a fully trained squad is already fit to smash the west campus team which is a team from the satelite campus of Moi university. This is nationwide tournament league which will see them gain extra points if they win this game moreso with a larger margin of tries and conversions. Fantasy basketball

Moi university basketball team is on the progress of becoming the next KUSA tounarment winners which comprises of the different universities across the country. This is a progress which has seen the team conquer the opponents from different satelite campuses of Moi university. The first friendly tournament which was held in West campua and comprised of the Annex campus, west campus(Kpa) and Kitale campus saw the team from Main campus lead as they reached the finals where they met the Kitale campus team but they outmatched it by scoring 30 sets to 17. With such result, the team is training much well to ensure that the KUSA  tournament becomes there ice breaker. Speaking to the team's captain, Ngeywa Mosobin he said that they are well prepared to win and the team at large is set to ensure that Moi University's name is renown having lost in the quarter-finals late last year.
