Covid 19 effects In Moi University &Kesses Centre
Since it's Outbreak early this year in March and some students being forced to go back home, Covid 19 led to several students be unable to pay for the Monthly house rents which accumulated all along since there was no Notice that Corona will take a given short period of time hence nobody knew it shall take a long period of time.
To Those who depend on students to earn a daily living, Covid 19 brought them a very big impact since they had nobody to sell to hence losing their daily income, this has led to some being told to Vacate from their places of residence
The bigger problem brought about by this Covid 19 pandemic, has been many young people who mainly depended on offering transport services around the University hence earning something small, turned themselves into Thieves breaking into homesteads and even making away with some property which belonged to students who were away back in their homes
In conclusion, students and the Villagers around the University should just adhere to the specified rules and regulations by the ministry of Health so that all can just learn to live with the disease since the closure of the school again will lead to much more problems on the whole community which benefit direct or indirectly to the Institution.
